Are acrylic products easy to clean?

Yes. Acrylic is the easiest to clean surface in the bath industry, avoiding all the issues with cleaning porcelain and fi berglass surfaces. Just spray and wipe and you are done. Cleaning is typically less than 5 minutes for a BCI enclosure that includes tubs, walls, hardware and shower doors.

What should I use to clean and maintain the acrylic?

BCI recommends non-abrasive cleansers such as Formula 409 All Surface Cleanser and Microban 24-Hour Spray as an everyday cleaner on our surfaces. Vinegar & water may be used to soften water minerals. If a disinfectant is needed, you may use diluted Clorox bleach and water to sanitize the enclosure. Always rinse thoroughly after cleaning

Do BCI products stain easily?

No, Our BCI exclusive high-tech polymer surfaces are non-porous and highly stain resistant.

Are the bottoms of the tubs and shower pans slippery?

No. A slip resistant bottom is standard on all our bathtubs and shower pans that meets or exceeds the coefficient of friction mandated by all plumbing codes. For added protection, we also recommend a designer grab bar and a slip-resistant, permanent floor mat.

Why don’t I just refinish my old tub and tile?

We prefer to think of refinishing as a paint job that will only last a short amount of time. With our BCI exclusive high-tech polymer bath products, your investment will last the lifetime of your home.

What colors are available for BCI products?

BCI offers neutral colors for bathtubs, shower pans, wall surrounds and accessories that make it extremely easy for the homeowner to decorate or accent with other contemporary colors. Shower pans are available in those same solid colors as well as our exclusive, premium, marbleized wall colors. How thick is the material used in BCI products?

The acrylic bathtubs are made from source material that is over ¼” thick. Our wall panels are over one-eighth” thick, however, they are anchored to new substrate that is structurally sound and rock solid. BCI tubs, shower pans and walls are manufactured from the thickest materials in the industry

Will my investment in my new bathroom last?

BCI warrants the acrylic bath surface for the lifetime of the product against any defects in materials and workmanship. Our products will not fade, yellow, crack, bubble, or peel under normal use when cared for by the guidelines set forth by BCI.
